Stress Management
Stress is a natural part of academic life, but when left unmanaged it can affect performance, relationships, physical health, and overall wellbeing. This course helps students understand the science of stress, recognise their own stress patterns, and develop practical skills to manage pressure in healthy and sustainable ways.
Through interactive discussions, self-reflection, and evidence-based strategies, students learn how to stay calm, focused, and resilient even during demanding phases of college life.
Course Details
Module 1: Understanding Stress- (1.5 Hrs)
Understand what stress is, why it exists, and how it affects the brain, body, emotions, and behaviour. Students explore the difference between healthy and harmful stress and learn why stress is a normal response to life's challenges.​

Module 2: Understanding Stressors & Recognizing Stress (1.5 Hrs)
Learn to identify personal stressors and recognise the physical, emotional, cognitive, and behavioural signs of stress. This module helps students become more self-aware and identify early warning signals before stress becomes overwhelming.​

Module 3: Functional Burnout & Procrastination (1.5 Hrs)
Explore how chronic stress contributes to burnout and procrastination. Students understand the psychological patterns behind avoidance, loss of motivation, and exhaustion, while learning how to break these cycles

Module 4: Tools for Managing Stress (1.5 Hrs)
Discover practical techniques to regulate stress in everyday life. Students learn evidence-based strategies such as mindfulness, emotional regulation, breathing techniques, habit building, and healthy coping mechanisms to build long-term resilience.
