Course Details
Module 1: The Psychology of Communication
(1.5 Hrs)
Understand how communication works, why misunderstandings occur, and how confidence, perception, and emotions influence effective conversations.
Module 5: The Art of Public Speaking (1.5 Hr)
Learn how to design and deliver engaging presentations that communicate complex research clearly and confidently to different audiences.
Module 2: Overcoming Fear of Speaking
(1.5 Hrs)
Learn practical strategies to manage stage fright, reduce speaking anxiety, and develop confidence while presenting ideas.
Module 6: Difficult Conversations ( 1.5 Hr)
Develop the confidence to ask thoughtful questions during seminars, conferences, meetings, and academic discussions while overcoming the fear of judgement.
Module 3: Peer Communication & Collaboration (1.5 Hr)
Develop the skills needed to collaborate effectively with research teams, resolve disagreements constructively, and contribute positively to collaborative projects.
Module 7: Networking & Professional Communication (1.5 Hr)
Strengthen professional communication through effective email writing, networking, workplace etiquette, and communication in multidisciplinary environments.
Module 4: Advisor–Student Communication
(1.5 Hr)
Build productive relationships with supervisors through effective communication, expectation setting, feedback conversations, and professional interactions.
Module 8: Interview Psychology (1.5 Hr)
Prepare for academic and professional interviews by understanding interviewer expectations, communicating strengths effectively, and performing confidently under pressure.
