Mentorship Eligibility Course

The Mentor Eligibility Course is a foundational initiative designed to prepare students for mentoring roles with maturity, responsibility, and care.
It builds essential awareness around wellbeing, safety, and ethical conduct through four thoughtfully curated modules.
The program ensures that aspiring mentors are equipped with the right mindset, boundaries, and basic helping skills.
Completion of this program is a prerequisite for students who wish to serve as mentors.

Course Details

1. Awareness on Alcohol and Substance

(1.5 Hr)

Raising awareness about how substances and addiction impact mental health, decision-making, and academic performance​

2. Gender Sensitisation and POSH

(1.5 Hr)

Gender Sensitisation and Prevention of sexual harassment 

3. Psychological First-Aid

(1.5 Hr)

Equipping mentors with the skills to recognise and respond to student distress, including suicide prevention and early intervention techniques. 

4. Understanding the role of a mentor

(1.5 Hr)

This module explores the purpose, boundaries, and responsibilities of the role, enabling mentors to support others with empathy, integrity, and clarity
