IIT Bombay

NOCS01/02
Wellness course
The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 emphasizes the critical role of overall well-being in fostering high-quality learning environments across higher education institutions. Challenges such as academic pressure, loneliness, and interpersonal difficulties can significantly impact student well-being, attendance, and academic success.
Recognizing these challenges, IIT Bombay has taken a proactive step towards nurturing the mental and emotional wellness of its students. This course has been approved by the senate and it will be offered from July 2025.
Through this initiative, IIT Bombay aims to create a campus culture that supports emotional wellness, fosters inner strength, and equips students to navigate the demands of academic and personal life with confidence and care.
