Flourishing Leadership Course
The Flourishing Leadership Course helps IIT Bombay students build the mindset and skills to lead with clarity, empathy, and accountability. Through interactive sessions, students learn self-awareness, emotional intelligence, communication, and conflict management.
Designed for students aspiring for institute-level positions in leadership role, the program emphasizes purpose-driven leadership—valuing collaboration, fairness, and character—preparing students to make a meaningful impact in campus life and beyond.
Course
This course is structured into four interconnected modules covering key aspects of student leadership — from personal well-being to ethical decision-making and effective leadership . Delivered through four 1.5-hour experiential workshops for batches of 30-35 students, sessions combine interactive discussions, group activities, case studies, role-plays, and reflections. Participants actively practice leadership skills, explore real-life scenarios, and gain practical insights that can be directly applied in their roles at IIT Bombay.
Workshop Details
1. Awareness on Alcohol and Substance
(1.5 Hr)
Raising awareness about how substances and addiction impact mental health, decision-making, and academic performance
2. Gender Sensitisation and POSH
(1.5 Hr)
Gender Sensitisation and Prevention of sexual harassment
3. Ethics and Integrity in Leadership
(1.5 Hr)
Importance of ethics and integrity in leadership, the psychological reasons why leaders compromise, and the personal costs of unethical success
4. Habits of High-Functioning Leaders
(1.5 Hr)
Time management, emotional regulation, effective communication, building trust, ownership and accountability.
You will be enrolled in the certification course upon submitting the form and the sessions will be conducted within next 2 weeks of registration. You will receive the session schedule within 5 days of registration.
